L’expression “I want it all and I want it now (je veux tout et maintenant) viendrait de la compagne de Bryan May, Anita Dobson, qui répétait souvent ‘I want it all and I want it now’.

Cette chanson n’a jamais été joué en live par Freddy Mercury, il est en effet décédé avant qu’elle soit jouée... pour la première fois en avril 1992. Freddy Mercury est mort en novembre 1991.

Elle parle de l’envie d’atteindre un objectif, de voir grandir un future… Elle utilise les mots :

• Future

• The cry of youth (les pleurs de la jeunesse)

• A man with a one track mind (un homme avec une et une seule intention)

Pourquoi ai-je choisi cette chanson ?

La première chose est qu’elle est musicalement très poignante comme beaucoup des chansons de Queen. Freddy Mercury transmet naturellement une force incroyable qui reflète une détermination à toute épreuve.

Ils utilisent dans ce texte des thèmes (la jeunesse, le présent (NOW), le future) qui sont tout à fait en accord avec mes pensées actuelles.
